The Art Of Playing Cards

Ever since I was about six I was taught how to play cards. It is just something that both sides of my family have done to bring us together. There is always a great deal of teasing and bullshitting involved. On occasion there is also a little cheating, but its all in good fun. We usually don't play for too much, its friendly games. There are times when you get the right people together when the stakes go up. Some of the games we play are euchre, solo, spades, hearts, guts, Texas hold'em, and Canadian blackjack. There will be more latter on what these games are if you not familiar with them. If you like some other card games please post, and yes there are drinking card games.

Outdoor Life

In these modern days it is all too easy to become sedentary and live a life in doors. For some this may be fine. Yet if your like me you must get out and explore outdoor activities.

One of my favorites is fishing. There is almost nothing better than getting out on the lake. Even if you don't catch anything, which does happen some times, it is still relaxing to get out. I like the saying that a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work, or school for that matter.

Another great pursuit is hunting. There are multiple species to hunt in Wisconsin, depending on what season it is. My personal favorite is whit tail deer. The opening weekend of deer camp is in someways a brotherhood with the men, or women, that you go with. Lets not all forget that what happens in deer camp stays in deer camp, its kinda like Vegas only closer.

There is also the riding of ATVs. They are amazing machines that can go just about anywhere. Oh yeah did i mention that they are fast as hell too. They are great for recreation, and in the unfortunate instance they are also great for work.
